You also get 21 days advance booking rights - all non-founding members will have 14 days advance booking rights.

🛡️ What happens if I pay $500 and the facility doesn't open?

Zero risk to you. Your $500 is held in trust by our lawyer - it's not touched for construction or operating costs. If we don't open, or if there are significant delays, you get a full refund within 7 days via e-transfer. No questions asked, no hassle. We've structured this to remove all risk from early supporters like you.

🎾 Is padel play truly unlimited with the founding membership?

Yes – play every day if you want! No court fees, no pay-per-play charges. The only fair-play rule is one 90-minute booking per day per member. But here's the bonus: if no one books the slot after you, feel free to keep playing.

🤔 I've never played padel - should I try it first?

Great question! We recommend trying padel at GTA locations first - email us for a list of places. But here's the thing: padel is incredibly addictive. It combines the best of tennis, squash, and racquetball in a social doubles format. Most people are hooked after one game. 📈 Will membership fees increase after year one?

Those who sign up to our Founding Unlimited membership get price protection! We're freezing rates for the first 3 years minimum. While other clubs raise prices annually, our Founding Unlimited members lock in $249/month. This alone could save you hundreds compared to joining later or going elsewhere.

🔒 Is this a member-focused facility?

Yes, Trounce is a members-focused club. However, non-members will also be able to play (2 days in advance booking rights, on a pay as you play basis). Non-members may also be invited by members on a guest pass basis.

👥 Can I bring guests to play?

Yes. Members may bring guests in line with their guest-pass privileges. Each guest may visit up to five times within a rolling 12-month period. This helps preserve our intimate club atmosphere while still allowing members to share the padel experience with friends and family—ideal for introducing newcomers to the sport or welcoming visiting relatives.

⏰ What are your operating hours?

Built for your busy life: 7am - 10pm daily (closed Christmas and New Year's Day). Early morning sessions before work, lunch break games, evening matches - we've got you covered. With automated access for members, you'll have flexibility to play when it suits your schedule.

🌡️ Is the facility climate controlled year-round?

Perfect conditions always. Full heating and air conditioning means you're playing in comfort whether it's -20°C or +35°C outside. No more canceled games due to weather - this is why indoor sports clubs are the future in Collingwood's variable climate.

📅 Do you offer seasonal or part-time memberships?

We'd prefer to keep it simple: 12-month memberships that ensure maximum court availability and build a tight-knit community. The annual commitment keeps costs low and availability high for all members. The Founding Unlimited Membership tier can be secured right now. Additional membership tiers may be introduced in the future.

🎯 Will professional coaching be available?

Absolutely! We'll offer professional padel coaching for members who want to improve their game. Lessons will be available for an additional fee, but having access on-site means convenient scheduling and familiar courts. Perfect for beginners or advanced players looking to sharpen their skills.

🏗️ Are your ceilings high enough for proper padel?

Absolutely perfect for padel. Our arched ceilings range from 24-26.5 feet high with zero supporting columns throughout the playing area. This clearspan design means no interference with lobs or high shots - just pure, professional-quality padel conditions.

🍺 Will you serve alcohol at the bar?

That's the plan! We're working on securing a liquor licence for the full club experience. Imagine post-game drinks overlooking the courts with fellow members. We'll start with premium non-alcoholic options and light refreshments, then add alcohol as licensing allows.

✈️ Can I pause my membership when traveling?

No pausing available. The 12-month commitment keeps our costs low and ensures court availability for active members. Consider it like a gym membership - the consistent revenue model is what makes unlimited play possible at such competitive pricing.

🏋️ Is gym access included?

Gym access is included for all members as part of their padel membership—think of it as a gym membership rolled into one. Guests may also have access to the gym.

🧣 Is there a towel service?
